Hi — welcome to my creative ecosystem.

My name is Alex Chang, and I’m a writer based in San Francisco.

There was a time when I thought my happiness was permanent. There were a couple of summers in a couple different cities when I thought I had finally overcome sadness and created an invincible summer for myself. But it has been repeatedly demonstrated to me that happiness is short and fleeting. During these times, I turn to art to find beauty in my life. My capacity to be happy is finite, but my capacity to create art is infinite.
